Panther of the Week: MOLLY MCLEAN
She’s selfless, intelligent, and funny. She was the best FYC last year, and she immediately made everyone in the hall feel at home. As an FYC, Molly’s bubbly sense of humor always kept our spirits up even during trying times like finals. Even though she was a junior juggling really hard classes like Molecular Biology and Organic Chemistry along with running track & field, she would bake for us on our birthdays, leave out home made muffins the morning of registration when we were all stressed out, and always leave her door open for us to come in, grab a snack, or jump on her mini trampoline to relive stress. My birthday my freshman year was on the day of opening convocation, and even though she hardly knew me, she snuck into my room in the middle of the night and left little presents all around the room. And even though it’s her senior year, she still finds time to bond with her used-to-be-freshman. She is caring and wonderful and has a heart bigger than the melted tires outside of Hillcrest.
Molly is the kind of person who easily reminds you of your strengths in the moments you need it most; it’s only fair that she is reminded of her own strengths.

Congratulations, Molly!
